We were totally reliant on Checkatrade to find us a competent contractor for our repair job. We registered and posted our needs, but unfortunately, we were left in the lurch.

After/Upon/Following hiring a plumber/electrician/carpenter from their platform, we ended up with a shoddy/subpar/messy job that cost us a fortune/ dearly/ an arm and a leg. Checkatrade's read more response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade puts the emphasis on their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you believe Checkatrade. Their whole scheme is designed to rip you off. They promise the world but they a load of rubbish. You'll be left in a pickle and nobody at Checkatrade will give a damn.

It all starts with their sneaky fees, which they hide in the fine print. Then, there's the terrible customer service that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to get your money back, but it's like pulling teeth.

So, steer well clear of Checkatrade if you value your money.

We thought we were doing the right choice by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so legitimate with their approved traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Then, the communication from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and sent us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to discuss the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up having to hire someone else by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's support was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling angry and would definitely not recommend Checkatrade for your tradesman needs.
